Sacred Hoop Ministry is a non-denominational spiritually
based church whose purpose and beliefs are to promote and preserve the
ancient teachings of spiritualism and oneness with all. We believe
that there are many paths that lead to spiritual awareness and a
personal relationship with our Creator/God. We honor all of these
paths, as Creator has shared many teachings with many tribes and
peoples and each culture has it own traditions, ceremonies and beliefs
which need to be honored and preserved. Our belief in one teaching
does not nullify or reduce the importance of any other teaching. Our
center will be an available platform for many Spiritual teachers and
various healing modalities as our community is diverse and wishes to
be exposed to a variety of teachings.
We believe in a central God/Creator/Spirit and in the
spiritual truths of Universal law.
Our ministry and affiliated outreach programs must abide by
universal truths and laws and always operate from a place of love,
non-violence, nonaggression and oneness. Our purpose is to assist
others in receiving spiritual healing and in finding their own
“balance and harmony” within the universe.
Our ministry will become a community center where we will
work together on common goals, projects and outreach programs. We are
here to help people become whole and bring balance back into their
being so that they can go forth and live their lives with love,
compassion and centeredness.
We rejoice and encourage the continued scientific research of
the power of thought, word and prayer. We support and endorse the
quantum science approach to the power of free will and life supporting
affirmation, for within every human being lays a Spiritual Being, a
child of God whose innocence is pure and unadulterated. We came into
this world as spiritual seeds of Creation and it is our life’s
purpose to care for these seeds, to nurture our garden and to share
the fruits of our labor with the universe.
Sacred Hoop Ministry promotes teaching others to embrace
their personal power, their individuality and their uniqueness as each
person has individual gifts to offer and one person’s gift should
not outweigh the gift of another.
We all have a purpose and a personal divinity to embrace and
nurture. Our goal is help others discover their seeds of consciousness
and to find their “own path” to oneness and enlightenment. We
allow “them” to discover the tools that best suit their needs and
situations so that they can once again embrace life and become who
they truly are.
One of our outreach programs is designed to work with the
veterans of war who have sacrificed their own well being in order to
be of service to our country and to freedom itself. To quote petty officer Charles Anderson of the US Navy “Science has
proven that you can live for 7 days without water, but spiritually,
you can only life a few minutes without Hope”. At least 1 in every
15 soldiers returning from
Iraq
is suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Many others
are suffering from a loss of faith in God. This is a war unlike any war we have ever fought
and the casualties of this war go far beyond the actual death count of
our fallen soldiers and those who have died on Iraqi soil.
These
soldiers are faced with many challenges as they attempt to leave the
war and their training behind and attempt to re-integrate back into a
torn society and the families that they had to leave behind while in
service to this country. Sean Huze who is a Corporal in the United
Stated Marines said “Who we
are when we leave, is not who we are when and if we are lucky enough
to come home.” Their family dynamics changed when they left
their homes and loved ones to serve their country and will continue to
change and evolve long after their return back home. “You
can take the soldier out of the war, but taking the war out of the
soldier is another task altogether.” Many family members and
loved ones do not have the training or the tools to cope with this
type of transition and that is where we come in, as we will offer
programs for the veterans and their families to work together in
combating their newest enemy which in many cases is PTSD, in addition
to their physical wounds and injuries.
The growing needs of these veterans of war are overloading and under-trained military organization that
could benefit from help and assistance of the private sector and Ministries
such as ours. Our intent is to help organize those in the private
sector that have the resources, willingness and compassion to assist
these soldiers and their families in whatever means is available and to work in
cooperation with the military and various veteran organizations to
reach out and help these soldiers recover from the challenges of war.
Our calling is to assist them in regaining balance in their lives
mentally, physically and spiritually.
We also wish to be of service to those who have mental,
physical and spiritual handicaps to overcome due to the traumas of
their life and perhaps of personal choices that were not in their best
interest. There are massive numbers of individuals who have suffered
traumas and abuse in a variety of ways including but not limited to
physical, verbal and spiritual abuse.
By organizing a networking group of therapists, doctors,
healers and spiritual practitioners we aspire to bring hope, balance
and inner peace back to these people lives.
Sacred Hoop Ministry also wishes to promote supportive
communities, family values, and Spiritualism through research and
application of the Spiritual principals that were accepted, protected
and nourished by our fore fathers and indigenous leaders throughout
the world.
Our human family is evolving individually and globally, but
the process of evolution should not stifle individual growth, personal
and planetary awareness, sovereignty and working within universal laws
to promote oneness. On the contrary, our planetary evolution requires
a paradigm shift to “total awareness”, taking responsibility for
our current global situation and going forth with a new vision, a new
awareness and a new approach to personal and planetary healing.
Finally, as a non-profit outreach ministry we intend to
assist those in immediate need, especially single working parents who
are having difficulty making ends meet financially.
Our ministry is a way or life, a daily event, not a once a
week gathering. Our ministry is our life and our life is our ministry.
If we can help others help themselves, who in turn will help others,
help themselves, then we have successfully planted the seeds of
re-creation and a “Garden of Eden Consciousness”. A consciousness
that honors and respects the uniqueness of the individual, while
supporting the group consciousness of oneness…
