Maci Hatch – Fort Meyers, FL.

Throughout my life, I always sensed and could feel energies in an empty room and I could even audibly hear them trying to communicate with me in different languages and sounds. However, at the time I did not feel ready to communicate or work with them.

About 3 years ago, I experienced multiple serious physical health problems including Lyme disease, a Chiari malformation (which required brain surgery), chronic dizziness, balance issues, migraines, and chronic gastrointestinal issues.  I tried everything in my power to feel better and to heal including adopting a GF/vegan lifestyle, acupuncture, massage, dry needling, meditation, essential oils, exercise, etc. but despite my best efforts, I continued to feel that something was missing.

When I felt like I had reached my last resort, a friend told me that she was a Shamanic practitioner and offered me a Shamanic healing session. I didn’t know anything about Shamanism at the time, but I have always been open to all forms of healing and treatment. Immediately after the session, I was amazed with feeling like myself for the first time in years.  My dizziness and balance dysfunction had significantly improved and the migraines decreased in intensity. It was incredible to say the least. I have had a hunger for learning more about Shamanism and Shamanic healing ever since this first experience which is why I enrolled in the Shamanic Practitioner’s training at Sacred Hoop Ministry.  I am so eager to share this beautiful gift of spiritual healing with the world!

I have been working as a Doctor of Physical Therapy for the last 5 years. I always make it a point to get to know my patients on a deeper level and to make sure I am addressing and treating the whole patient (mind, body, and soul). Through learning about Shamanism, I have learned that injuries and rehabilitation go much deeper than just the physical level. This has helped me to understand my patients in a new light and to also be able to offer them modes of both physical and spiritual healing, if they are open to it.

On top of my Physical Therapy degree, I am also a Certified Reiki practitioner, Certified Vegan Health Coach, and Certified Holistic Health and Wellness Coach. Additionally, I have a strong interest in the use of essential oils in creating non-toxic household cleaners, non-toxic skin and body products, and natural remedies for physical/mental ailments.

My goal is to have a holistic health care practice run out of my own home where I can treat the whole person: mind, body, and soul, all in one place. My true passion lies in helping people to feel great in all aspects of life and to help them be able to fully experience the beauty of existence.
